This book deals with psychological dimensionality of teacher effectiveness in terms of intellectual and creative attributes i.e. general intelligence, social intelligence, emotional intelligence and creativity of secondary school teachers. Human characteristics of the teacher’s emotional and creative skills play a significant role in being an effective teacher. In order to achieve high goals and expectations of education in the present era, the interventions for inclusion and development of social cum emotional intelligence skills in teacher preparation programmes are needed.
Further, development of the creative thinking abilities is the most fundamental educational objective. Dr. Kamalpreet Kaur Toor holds Ph.D. in Education from Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab. Presently, she is working as UGC-Post Doctorate Fellow and pursuing her research in the field of elementary education.
